White Ginger - bulb

White Ginger:  Zingiberaceae Hedychium corcnarium, 'Awapuhi ke'oke'o.

  • Originally from India.
  • Grows on most of the Hawaiian Islands.  
  • Stems grow four to six feet tall with leaves sixteen to eighteen inches long and  three to four inches wide.
  • Very popular for making leis because of its wonderful fragrance.

Growing Directions:

  1. Bury roots 2" deep in a container of soil or dpeat moss and keedp it moist.
  2. Temperature - Average to warm.  Minimaum at night 50 degrees F.  Keep in warm place, but not full sun.
  3.
