Red Ginger:  Alpinia purpurata,  Awapuhi ula'ula 

  •  Originally from Malaysia
  • From a large family of Tropical Herbs, dyes, spices.
  • Popular landscape plant.
  • Last approximately two weeks as cut flowers, perfect for floral arranagements.

 Growing Directions:

  1. Bury roots 2" deep in a container of soil or dpeat moss and keedp it moist.
  2. Temperature - Average to warm.  Minimaum at night 50 degrees F.  Keep in warm place, but not full sun.
  3.
