Mamaki is a Hawaiian Herbal Tea grown in remote areas throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
The Ancient Hawaiians drank tea with the belief that tea served as a means to cleanse impurities. These impurities could be of the physical and spiritual nature. They also believed tea helped to cure them of other physical ailments and maladies. These leaves are hand selected to ensure the finesst quality. To make Hot Tea: Boil 6 cups water with about a handful of leaves for 5 to 7 minutes, or add more leaves for desired taste. To reboil add more water and additional leaves and boil. Serve hot or cold over ice.
